Video Recipe: http://youtu.be/LJStPXe62ho
One of my childhood favorite snacks, but so much better; Tostino’s Pizza Roll inspired Pizza Stuffed Mushrooms.
Tostino’s Pizza Rolls Recipe - Pizza Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients:
8 Baby Portobello Mushroom Caps (stuffers)
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1/2 cup cheese
12 pepperoni slices (Yves)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Clean the mushroom caps with a wet paper towel.
Use a spoon to remove the remaining stem and gills from the mushroom.
Place the mushroom caps in a oven safe pan, bottom side up.
Layer on the marinara sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.
Bake for 20 minutes.
You will know that they are done when the tops are toasty and brown. Let them cool slightly before tasting, because they will burn the crap out of your tongue.

Pizza Hut Pepperoni Big Sliders Recipe (TTOD #9 3.3.13) The Take Out Diet
Video Recipe: http://youtu.be/aEaKqvXfgTc
Pizza Hut has a new interesting creation called Big Sliders. I guess they are supposed to compete with mini burgers, just in Pizza form. Either way, it reminded me that I was wanted to make Portobello Pizzas a long long time ago. This is my perfect excuse.

VEGAN PIZZA SLIDERS!!!

(via thesweetestvegan)

Beer crust pizza! After I reblogged her pizzas last week, B’klynHeart was nice enough to send me the recipe - which, as it just so happens, is from King Arthur. (She replaced the pizza dough flavor with nooch and Penzey pizza spice; I used garlic, thyme, and oregano.)

Pizza #1: a vegan cheeseburger beer crust pizza, with cheddar Daiya cheese, Yves Meatless Ground Round, onions, tomatoes, black olives, and my own homemade pizza sauce!

Pizza #2 was a bit simpler, with just two toppings: mozzarella Daiya cheese and homemade marinara sauce.

The crust is a nice medium-thin (if you don’t leave it to rise a second time, anyway), crispy with just a hint of beer flavor.

Cheddar Bacon Cheeseburger & Fries Pizza, y’all! I wanted to make this today, but the husband - who loves his seasonal holiday foods - nixed the idea. Instead we compromised on these epic looking Thanksgiving Burgers, and made the pizza over the weekend.
But you should totally bake up one of these bad boys and take it to grandma’s house so you can impress your defensive omni family with the awesomeness that is vegan junk food. It’ll make their dead turkey look like chopped liver.

Enjoying pizza today? Send us your pics!
