I almost had to tie my boyfriend to the chair to take the picture, we jumped in this feast 30 seconds later. I had enough dough to make 2 pizzas, so I made mini-calzones the day after. Unfortunately, these babies went right to our bellies!

Thai Pizza (Vegan)

There’s this restaurant back home in St. Louis Missouri called Thai Pizza. They serve Thai Pizza there. I’m not exactly sure what that is- I’ve never had it, since it isn’t vegan. But pizza and Thai food are like my two favorite things, so I decided I would try it at home. I’m pretty proud of what I came up with.
It’s fried tofu with broccolini in spices and dark Thai soy sauce, covered in Mozzarella Daiya and Sriracha on a homemade crust. I’m not sure if I can actually call it Thai, but it has Thai soy sauce in it, so there.
This is probably the best thing I’ve ever made. However, you can see all my food porn here.

[I’ve been saving this gif for a special pizza, and I think this is THE ONE!

“Taco pizza”

Field Roast italian sausage, sliced yellow squash, garlic, olives, and dried basil on homemade vegan dough, with a combo of Vegan Gourmet Mozarella and Daiya. Bend, Oregon, USA
[WHAT WHAT! Who has two thumbs and is excited for THG premiere? THIS VEGAN! I only wish it was coming out in the summer, so I could see it in the drive-in and bring a homemade pizza. Movies are always better with a pizza!
Anyway, appropriate gif is appropriate. Also: uber-adorable. Peeta! Those cheeks!

Perfect pesto pizza… I have a weakness for alliterations =x and vegan pizza of course!
Whole wheat crust with a delicious pesto sauce, topped with Daiya mozzarella, roasted red peppers, sauteed spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes! Melt-in-your-mouth amazing. I finished the entire pie in one sitting… oops!

[Oooooh my gods does this pizza look good! Like, Stabler happy dancing on a pole good! jksksjshs

Store bought cornmeal and spelt crust, tomato-based bbq sauce, the yellow and the white daiya cheeses, soy curls, and minced onion! Herbs and nutritional yeast added, as always.
The soy curls taste so much like chicken, even though I made it myself I had to stop a few times and investigate.
To make the soy curls “chicken flavored” I soak soy curls in veggie chicken broth for about ten minutes, drain and squeeze the excess broth out of the curls, then fry it on a pan (i used avocado oil!). I like to get it crispy while I add cumin, spanish paprika, freshly ground black pepper, soy sauce, and garlic and onion powder!

[I was really looking for something along the line of “eating vegan meat, tastes too much like animal flesh / poker face” but this was the best I could do! I’m sure it’s been done, ‘cause it happens to everyone I know! ALL THE TIME. But still, this works too! “Are we out of nutritional yeast?”

Eff Yea Vegan Pizza!!!

Since you were having a contest and all I decided to make MORE VEGAN PIZZA. This one is a kamut flour crust, topped with spinach, mushrooms, diced tomatoes and daiya mozzarella… I sprinkled a few jalapenos on top because that’s how I roll.
Love from the Great White North Canada!
[You can never have too many vegan pizzas, amirite ppl?!? Also, this one?

Looking good! From sans faire rien! - ed.]
Sweet Potato Tikka Pizza!
This is a mini-pizza that happens to be GF (as long as the mystery chunk of faux-cheese doesn’t have some hidden gluten, anyway.) It is a chile corn tortilla lovingly sauced with mashed sweet potato, then gently topped with a spicy sweet-potato-and-tofu tikka masala, then further accented by tangy green tomatillo salsa and the end of nameless vegan cheeze coaxed into star shapes for the kids.
This is what leftovers look like at our house on a good day! It is hot, creamy, sweet, sharp, spicy, crispy, chewy, and just dang delicious.
Submitted by A. & Ayuh!

This contest is awesome, btw!
