fuck yeah vegan pizza

AMAZING pizza from Blackbird Pizzeria in Philly. Tons of garlic butter, seitan sausage crumbly things, red onions, globs of chunky tomato sauce, and piles and piles of daiya on top of a perfect crust. Thin and crispy, yet slightly soft. If there is a god, he/she is manifested in this pizza…it’s like a slice of heaven.
[Shhhh, don’t let the flying spaghetti monster hear you say that! There’s not even any mac & cheese on that pizza! Via swertdog! - ed.]

one my absolute all time favorite pizzas ever made: 50/50 wheat/bread flour homemade pizza dough that was blah when first made, but turned out so good after it was left in the refrigerator five days, topped with a basil cilantro miso herb sauce from sprouted kitchen here (super fabulous), mozzarella daiya, vine-ripened tomatoes, red onion, jalapeños, baked 10 mins at 515, avocado slices added once it comes out.

Nifty Pizza #11 - HAWAII!

Don’t have time or money to travel to Hawaii this summer?  NO PROBLEM!  This tropical vegan pie should do the trick.  We took the traditional “hawaiian pizza”, made it completely vegan, and added some extra ingredients to take it to the next level!  It’s pretty amazing!

Topped with pineapple, vegan ham, green peppers, pepperocinis, daiya mozarella, vegan parm, dried basil, and marjoram.  Recipe here!

[This pizza looks delish, but I still wanna go to Hawaii! Someone take me please? - ed.]

Decided to be creative and make my fiance a vegan breakfast pizza this morning :)
Crust, sauce, pepperjack daiya, red peppers, green peppers, onions, tofu scramble, and faux bacon bits :)

I wish someone loved me enough to make me a vegan breakfast pizza. I’m pouting in your direction, Shane!

vegan pizza cook off

you could probably post each and every photo and pizza in this post. i’ll just give you a link. we do a monthly vegan cookoff and this was last month’s. it was incredible. http://vegancookoff.blogspot.ca/2012/05/33-pizza-second-edition-april-2012.html

[OMG this is amazing and a thing of beauty and wow I think I just wet myself a little. VEGAN PIZZA COOKOFF, Y’ALL!

There are eleven pizzas in total, so I think I’ll just include my favorite, a win based mostly on the name: the “sausage fest” by Laryssa:

with “smoky pineapple sauce topped with soy chorizo, pineapple, thai chili, basil, & caramelized onion; served with a creamy garlic dipping sauce”. WHAT.

“i fucked your mom last night” is also intriguing

(“tomato-mango-cilantro sauce and chili-spiced mushrooms topped with a salsa of red onion, roma tomato, grape, radish, and cilantro”),

and the pizza I think my taste buds would get tingliest over is the “the baconator”

what with its “garlic mayo sauce topped with homemade coconut bacon, tomato, cracked pepper, and arugula”. Coconut bacon? I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT IS! Want to though.

And yeah I said I was only posting one pic, so what. You got me. I cannot be contained around the pizza. NO REGRETS.

Thanks for blowing my mind, malloreigh! - ed.]

pizza duo, vegan/gluten-free

pizza friends

We used Bob’s Red Mill gluten free pizza mix and it was fantastic! The full mix makes a lot of dough, so we made two small pizzas and saved a third in the freezer. Usually we prefer a thinner crust, so next time we’ll try for 5 or 6 portions. One pizza has sundried tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, and Daiya mozzerella. The second has fresh tomato slices, Daiya, basil, and vegan pepperoni.

[They both look so good, I couldn’t choose just one. EAT ALL THE SLICES! Via Fuck Yeah Vegan Tacos. Fuck yeah! - ed.]
