Vegan sausage pizza from Govinda Vegetarian in Bangkok, Thailand!

dan and i made this the other day. cheddar daiya, spinach, sundried tomatoes, italian tofurky slices, artichokes, and chipotle field roast sausages. i miss that pizza.
*sniffles*
deep dish vegan: biscuit-y crust + a sweet tomato sauce + sundried tomato tofurkey + daiya. how else to spend my last few days in utah?

Paulie Gee’s is the promised land of pizza.
Seriously.
Here is my advice for dining at Paulie Gee’s:
- Go at 6PM. It will already be busy but you won’t have to wait for a table.
- Wash your hands, because the sinks are fun and they have Mrs Meyer’s soap.
- If you order the salad and you’re vegan, ask for cheese off. It’s rough to pick out.
- Order a beer, because there’s a great selection on tap.
- Talk to the cute older man owner, because his face will light up when you detail how glorious his pizza is.
- Eat a whole pizza to your face, because you deserve it.
- Tip well, because you’ll be coming again immediately if not sooner.
Mine, pictured above, had homemade vegan sausage (delicious) and homemade cashew cheese (glorious) with arugula and mushrooms. The only don’t is getting extra mushrooms because they literally put four mushrooms on my pizza. It was so amazing though I didn’t even care.
Paulie Gee’s is easily accessible by boat! Take the East River Ferry to India street in Greenpoint. The G is also pretty close but I don’t like the G so I won’t give you directions. Then walk to the Lorimer St L after dining, because you’ll need to walk a little after noshing.

Here it is folks, the Ultimate Meat Loather’s Pizza.
Over 5lbs of chewy, flaky pan crust with zesty garlic marinara, juicy meatless burger crumbles, covered in melty mozzarella and pepperjack daiya cheese, topped with enough faux sausage and pepperoni to be a meal in itself.
Move over oh-so masculine carnists, this is the ultimate pizza.
I think I gained ten pounds just looking at this pic.

- The Asparagi (Field Roast Italian veggie sausage, asparagus, cherry tomato sauce and Daiya cheese)
- The Etna (eggplant, cherry tomato sauce, Daiya cheese/FYH soy mozzarella blend and basil)
- The Funghi e Salsiccia (Field Roast veggie sausage, field mushrooms, Daiya cheese and hot pepper)
I think I just had a vegasm, especially for that Asparagi number. Which one would you get?

I had some leftover pizza from The Joint Pizzeria - spinach, artichoke heart, tomato, mozzarella Daiya, and basil pesto drizzle. I decided to spice it up with some Tofurkey italian sausage, capers, and cheddar Daiya. Double the deliciousness!
