Napizza!

Discovered this awesome salad & veggie pizza today from Napizza in San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood! Napizza features artisan pizzas & an organic salad bar, & partners with local farms for a true “farm to table” dining experience!

We ordered the absolutely wonderful “Superfood Me Salad” - filled with organic spring mix, kale, quinoa, walnuts, avocado, blue lake beans, sprouts & apples, tossed in a basil-lemon vinaigrette; & the “Veggy Me Pizza” - topped with the chef’s selection of locally grown vegetables (from Suzie’s Farm) & & can be prepared with Daiya cheese upon request! Hooray for vegan options! I’m so thrilled that this is within walking distance from my office! Will be making this a lunchtime ritual for sure!

Buon Appetito!

Gourmet Vegan Pizza in San Diego!

A day trip to San Diego ended with DELICIOUS GOURMET PIZZA from Zia’s in The Normal Heights district of San Diego. My bro and I split a large half original vegan/ half eggplant. NO fake cheese, just sweet tomato sauce, a fluffy melt in your mouth crust, and the best of toppings. The original vegan side had baked tofu, potatos, and greens, the rest was eggplant and potato. SO GOOD!

delicious vegan pizza at blind lady ale house—-san diego’s best nano-brewery. this classic marinara pie with basil may look standard at first glance (and that’s what i thought when it arrived at my table), but the sauce and crust were exceptional, a cut above “good” restaurant vegan pizza. i definitely didn’t miss the cheese and toppings.

overall, blind lady fucking rules. incredible beer selection, vegan items clearly marked on the menu, and every once in awhile they have once in a lifetime home-brewed beers on tap. what more do i require?

Naked pizza is looking good.
