Vegan pizza mouth fuck!

reblogged from smoofies:

Well, it’s friday night so we decided to drink wine and make some vegan pizza! Ett riktigt jävla munknull*, as we say in Sweden.

Beautiful even before it’s baked…

My husband insisted on shaping my dough into the shape of a heart and then I loaded it up with tomato basil sauce, broccoli, sauteed mushrooms, Daiya mozzarella, fresh basil, a sprinkling of Galaxy Foods’ parmesan, cloves of roasted garlic, and brushed the crust with olive oil and herbs. It was my best work yet! And I washed it all down with a giant piece of vegan chocolate cake from Whole Foods.

Next stop, Iowa!

[This is amazing and I must have it in my mouth NOW. - ed.]

Bruschetta pizza! Similar to regular ole bruschetta, but cheesier and easier to eat.
The olive oil/balsamic vinegar in the bruschetta gives the pizza dough a rich, buttery taste, so much so that the mozzarella Daiya cheese almost isn’t necessary. (Almost but not quite! But you can still leave it off if you want a healthier pie!) With garden-fresh tomatoes and homemade parmesan cheese, yum.
Here’s the recipe. So easy!
