MY PICKLE PIE PIZZA Dewey’s Pizza “Mojo Sauce” (a mustard-base sauce with cilantro and spices) + daiya mozzarella vegan cheese + green peppers + white onions + tomatoes + dill pickles + oregano
If I could eat pickles on everything, I would.  I might have a week of pickle pizzas of various forms…. you think I’m joking….

Seriously pickles are da bomb.

MY GREEK PIZZA
OoooooooooMy holy pizza, I’ll be eating this again for sure!  Would’ve been *perfect* if it was just a weebit more well-done on the bake.
Dewey’s Greek Dressing (a scrumptious roasted red pepper vinaigrette) + whole roasted garlic + Kalamata olives + sundried tomatoes + fresh basil + roasted red peppers + dried oregano +  sliced tomato garnish

Another batch of homemade pizza sauce! If this one looks richer and more colorful, it’s ‘cause I blended the tomatoes first and then added the extra veggies and seasonings. Sooooo much easier since you don’t have to dice the tomatoes by hand!
With brown sugar and peppers for a sweet & spicy feel.

Perfect for a quick pita pizza with Daiya cheese.

Stepping up my game with homemade pizza sauce! This blend is a mix of the Marinara Sauce from Cooking Vegan and slow, oven-roasted tomatoes straight from the garden. Seasoned with basil, oregano, garlic, onions, black pepper, and just a hint of brown sugar and pulverized in the food processor for a sauce that’s about as creamy as the store-bought stuff. Just, you know, way tastier.
Don’t believe me? Get a load of Exhibit B: a tomato and Daiya cheese pizza slathered in homemade sauce.

I love summer, heat wave or no.
As per usual, I have a recipe!
(With another one coming next week! ON A ROLL.)

Falafel Pizza!

Falafel pizza

Oh boy, was this delicious!

After putting the sauce on the crust, I gave a generous drizzle of homemade tahini sauce. Then a layer of daiya. Then, crumbled and cooked falafel, sliced black olives, garlic, onions, and mild pepperoccini peppers. I finished it off with another layer of daiya and a sprinkle of oregano before putting it in the oven. When I took it out, I drizzled the top with more tahini sauce.

It came out even better than I thought it would! I’m totally making this again!

I may not be good at many things, but I do know how to make a good pizza.

On this one I put pizza sauce, mushrooms, onions, roasted red pepper, crumbled tempeh bacon, chicken-style seitan, mozzarella, avocado and baby spinach. There’s also some fresh oregano there somewhere but I don’t think you can see it in this pic. The crust is whole wheat. Everything is homemade, even the mozzarella, yo!
