Take an unsuspecting diner to chef Aaron Adams’ sustainable trattoria Portobello Vegan, and they may not recognize that the entire menu — pizzas, pastas, grilled mushrooms — is meat- and dairy-free. Adams’ spicy seitan sausage (which tops the Spicy Arrabiata pizza) mirrors the meaty version in texture, with fennel and red pepper flakes bringing the flavor to what’s essentially a sausage-shaped dough.

So this afternoon I went for a speed walk (wearing green ankle weights! and old lady, “just got out of the eye doc” sunglasses! and my old work apron! don’t ask! my point is, I am grody to the max, or whatever the kidz are saying these days!) and when I returned, was surprised to find that our followers had jumped from about 280 to nearly 400 in the space of like 90 minutes. Shit, son! And still they come! As I write this, we’re up to 487. No, wait. 489! 492!
That’s the power of the vegansaurus bump, baby. Or maybe I should say vegansaurus smash or stomp or something, seeing as they’re all ginormous pink dinos over there. NOT THAT THERE’S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT. Dinosaurs are THE BEST. Especially the herbivores! I’m a total vegansaurus fangirl, is what I’m saying.
