inwiththenoose asked: Got any tips for reheating pizza? I know that it will never be as good as fresh, but I've tried everything from the obvious oven to a cast iron pan to reheat and it never seems to get both the "cheese" back to a melted state and the crust warm/"crispy"
I almost always reheat my pizza in the toaster oven (or oven, if it’s more than a few slices) at 425 F for ten minutes or so. Of course the cheese never gets as melty as the first go round, but it usually gets warm and gooey at least. I find that it helps if you only cook the crust to a light, tannish brown color initially, ‘cause then you can reheat it for a little longer without worrying about scorching it. The cheese needs that little extra push, I think.
fwiw, tonight is leftover pizza night at my place!
Pesto Chicken Pizza with Creamy Garlic Sauce and Cheddar French Fry Pizza with Daiya cheese, come to mama!
donutsandcoffees asked: You are indeed correct, those New Year's Eve French Fry Pizzas are one and the same. Such a world with multiple NYEFFPs has not yet been created. However, that hasn't stopped my lady and I from volunteering to be the other pizza to that other pizza.
Next New Year’s Eve I’ll make the shiniest french fry pizza the ‘verse has ever seen! And then we can live in such a world! We can, all of us! We have to build the republic of heaven where we are, because for us there is no elsewhere!*
Sorry, still geeking out over that fandom quiz thingie. Also: curious how many fandoms I can cram into one ask/answer.
* Here’s the reference for those who aren’t HDM fans. Which is to say, most you. Sad face. Vegan sraffies, where art thou?
