HOLY SHITDAIYA CREAM CHEEZAND THEY HAVE STRAWBERRY

Is this for real? I see THE NEW SLICES (CHEDDAR! SWISS! PROVOLONE!!!!!) on their website, but no cream cheese.

Yeah, no. Palm oil isn’t vegan. PALM OIL ISN’T VEGAN.

Damn, I keep forgetting that Daiya uses palm oil in some of its products. Let’s hope the cream cheese will be palm oil-free, like the shreds. Pretty pretty please Daiya?

vegan baked four-cheese hearts! I have been craving the vegan mozzarella sticks since I ate them last in july and finally decided to try and make my own for some friends last night. everyone agreed: these were REALLY GOOD. (also REALLY delicious, allofmydaysoff’s homemade tomato sauce that we dipped these in)

I ended up mixing together all the different types of cheese I had in my apartment (daiya pepper jack, daiya cheddar, trader joe’s vegan mozzarella, and trader joe’s non-dairy cream cheese), adding a bit of flour, almond milk, and sriracha, then forming the mixture into heart shapes and freezing them until solid. once frozen, each heart got dipped in a flour and almond milk mixture and then into bread crumbs. these baked for almost 25 minutes at 350 and they flattened out some but got nice and crispy. leftovers can be refrigerated and then heated up in a skillet with a little oil the next day.

I may have forgotten to post this in time for V-day, but it’s never too late to enjoy heart-shaped chunks of vegan cheese!

when life gives you leftover pizza dough and tofu scramble make breakfast buns for the freezer?

mix the leftover scramble, vegan cream cheese, sriracha, and trader joe’s mozzarella  shreds all together and wrap it up in pizza dough pouches
brush the tops with melted earth balance and bake at 450 degrees for about 12 minutes
let cool and then into the freezer!
to heat back up either let defrost and then bake in the toaster oven OR microwave straight out of the freezer for about 2 minutes.

Things we love: vegan buffalo wings. Vegan cheese. Bready things.
So what is the above? A Vegan Buffalo Tart devised by blogger Spabettie. And what’s inside? Faux chicken; Frank’s Buffalo Sauce; vegan cream cheese, sour cream, and cheddar; celery; oh, and caramelized onions. Is your mouth watering yet?

If this isn’t a calzone it should be.
