One Happy Vegan: Omg, Guys... OMG
Let me tell you…
Cilantro-garlic-sundriedtomato pesto, caramalized onions, pepper jack Daiya, red bell peppers, spinach, tomatoes.
The pesto really brings this pizza to another level. Not to toot my own horn but this is seriously amazing.
I love how I post this after I talk about eating…
Homemade pizza.
I was honestly proud of this crust. Super fluffy and flavorful (although, I should have added more spice). Adapted from this recipe to fit my needs.
The toppings were jalapenos, corn (I usually use pineapple, but we didn’t have any), cilantro, and sauce from one of the local pizza shops (Peppe’s in Drammen, NO). I was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the sauce, it was pretty basic, as far as ingredients go (onion, garlic, tomato paste, pepper, sugar, and salt). This was my first pizza from scratch, and the first pizza I have had since going vegan. I did not miss the cheese at all. It would have totally ruined it. Even my omnivorous boyfriend loved it (although, he ruined his half by adding cheese).

It was an incredible experience, to say the least.

California Dreamin’…about PIZZA!

KT at Veg-Bergers continues her Fifty Nifty Pizzas tour of the US with this California-inspired pie!
California Pizza topped with fresh red and green bell peppers, sundried tomatoes, vegan chicken, daiya mozarella, and garnished with fresh avacado and cilantro. […]
This pie tastes like a sunny day spent by the beach. Or like a long hike beneath towering Sequoia trees. Or maybe it just tastes like pizza covered with avocados. No matter what, you should probably make it, and keep on dreaming about the California sunshine.
You don’t have to tell me twice, sister!

I couldn’t bearing scrolling through my dash and seeing vegan pizza after vegan pizza, so i finally made my own. homemade whole wheat crust, topped with cilantro, homemade cashew curry coconut cream sauce, tomato, roasted acorn squash, mushrooms, chopped okinawa spinach, and vegan “chorizo”. i topped it with avocado once it cooled a bit. everything but the chorizo was bought from my local organic co-op!

Vegan Burrito Pizza!
Besides pizza, burritos are one of my favorite foods. More specifically, burrito bowls (homemade or from a certain Mexican grill). Why not combine the two?!?
Homemade crust with the addition of cornmeal, cilantro, and lime, topped with onion, bell pepper, cumin+lime black beans, and two types of Daiya (cheddar and Italian style). It smells ridiculously good while baking!
Made in the USA by me :) I also write The Vegan Kitchen blog
This is my 4th and final Vegan Pizza Day giveaway entry.

Submission to the Early Vegan Pizza Day contest (United States):
Spicy Nacho PIzza!
I used medium salsa instead of marinara. Top it with tortilla chips, bell pepper, jalapeno, caramelized onion & garlic (with olive oil & agave nectar), avocado, mushroom, fresh cilantro, a squeeze of lime juice.
Sprinkle shredded herb & garlic almond cheese (or any vegan cheese you like) all over the top.
Bake on your favorite pizza crust (in this case whole wheat flatbread) until the cheese is melty and the veggies are cooked. Enjoy!
