Dimo’s in Chicago has so many delicious vegan pizza flavors. One of my favorite is Chorizo Seitan Taco, made with spicy chorizo seitan, pico de gallo, mozzarella and cheddar teese, and tomato sauce. super delicious. Check out our blog for more!
iron chef leftovers edition: an arepa pizza with ranch tofutti cream cheese for sauce, seitan, green beans, and cherry tomatoes in a buffalo gravy, and daiya cheddar on top with celery and avocado vegenaise dip on the side.
Made a personal vegan pizza the other day! It was DELICIOUS!
For the Dough:
1 cup flour
1/2 tablespoon yeast
2 dashes salt
2 teaspoons turbinado sugar
1/3 cup water (lukewarm)
Combine all ingredients, knead the dough, and then leave for 15 minutes to rise. Then spread the dough out and top it with whatever you want! I used tomato sauce, daiya, mushroom, thyme, red pepper flakes, and black pepper flakes.
