pizza vegana en cusco

last night, my group ate at a muy rico pizza place. i’m the only vegetarian/vegan (except a lactose intolerant girl, who hadn’t arrived yet) in the group, but they agreed to order a special pizza sin queso. it was delicious. i was surprised they did it; so many people told me not to even try to be vegan when traveling because it’s such a pain and no one will understand. they made me a slightly-larger-than-personal size, and i ate all but one piece. it had tomatoes, peppers, carrots, mushrooms, carrots, and spinach on it with a semi-spicy tomato sauce. muy muy rico, muy sabrosa. especially with a glass of piña juice! and the purple juice in the picture is my new favorite drink— chicha morano, or purple corn. delicioso.
the place was just south of the plaza de armas, on a corner in plaza regocijo next to a store called mundo hemp.
Purple corn juice, I want to try!
